Clinical research published in 2024 demonstrated that cross-linked HA fillers stimulate type I collagen production — increasing synthesis by up to 28-fold — meaning the benefits extend beyond simple volume replacement. All HA fillers used are fully reversible with hyaluronidase enzyme, providing an important safety net.
